PROJECT BRIEF

MeoPace is a Roommate app . Most Introverted people need a certain amount of personal quality time to recharge themselves after a long day of work or class. It takes a lot of courage for introverts to confront their wants and needs. Therefore, most introverts have a difficult time adapting to shared housing environments and handling roommate relationships. This project aims to assist introverts in understanding their roommates' preferences and living habits beyond traditional texting. As well as, reduce daily conflicts such as alarm clock issues and intruding on personal space.

Takeaways

Menopace is my first independent ux project. The goal of this app is to help freshman students build positive relationships with their roommates and ensure personal space. The inspiration for this project stems from personal experiences, where I observed many friends encountering challenges with their roommates during their freshman year.

Reflecting on it in 2024, I recognize many areas for improvements, such as enhancements to the interface design, including refined colour schemes and increased intuitiveness, could significantly elevate the user experience.
